Never Too Late 最佳遗产

Ding Yonghan is a lawyer specialising in inheritance disputes cases. Just as she thinks she will be made partner of the law firm soon, Yingxin, her best friend in school until they had to fight over a boy, joins the firm to vie for the partnership position too. Desperate to prove herself, she engages a private detective Lin Zhenbin to assist in her cases. Together, they managed to resolve and bring to light several cases of disputes. But soon, Yonghan discovers that Zhenbin is her biological father whom her mother escaped from because of physical abuse. Will she continue to work with him? 

Zhenbin was a failed businessman who turned alcoholic after his friend committed suicide over a debt owed to him. When he found out Yonghan is his estranged daughter, he wants to make amends by helping her in her cases. Initially angry with Zhenbin, Yonghan eventually discovers her mother may not be telling the whole truth, and that her boss at the law firm may have something to do with the death of Zhenbin’s dead friend. Will she expose her mother’s lies and also uncover the mystery of her boss’ connection to an old suicide case?
