Perfectly Imperfect 活出好命来
Despite his digitalisation of the underworld and the many achievements; the newly appointed CEO of the underworld (Jeffrey Xu) fails to earn the recognition and respect of veteran official Pei (Chen Shu Cheng) from the Weavers’ Palace. A weaver has the power to determine whether a soul is reborn into a good or bad life, giving the Weavers’ Palace the influence and wealth it holds in the underworld.
To prevent the skill of weaving from being monopolised by Pei and his faction, the CEO picks Luo Haoliang (James Seah) and Jingjing (He Ying Ying) to go undercover and infiltrate the Weavers’ Hall. Haoliang is a new soul in the underworld and sparks fly when recognizes soul-reaper, Xiaowen (Cheryl Chou), as the teacher who died thirty years ago saving his life.
However, apart from Pei, the underworld is facing a big crisis from overpopulation due to the lack of human reincarnations as humans are choosing pets over having children. There is a risk of the underworld blowing up if its temperature deviates from zero degrees Celsius.
The CEO decides to have the residents be reincarnate as cats and dogs instead, but when Pei incites the residents to protest, the CEO enlists the help of a human from the mortal world, Yiming (Zhang Ze Tong), to persuade the underworld residents to be reborn as pets. Yiming accepts the task for the sake of Jingjing, who was the woman he harboured a secret crush on before she died 5 years ago. Despite being separated by death, they eventually become lovers.
Livid that the CEO has seized his source of income, Pei exacts a vicious revenge against his subordinates and an unhappy fate befalls the two couples.
