Rate Card

  1. The form gives an indicative quote of the licence fees for the various purposes
  2. Quote is for per episode. If you are taking more than 1 episode, please multiply by the number of episodes to get the total licence fees.
  3. Select the purpose of usage by checking the boxes on the left below. Please check multiple boxes if you wish to purchase multiple rights.
  4. No of years and territories – Please fill the number of years or number of territories required in the boxes on the left below.
  5. Licence for Editing purpose- The licence fee depends on the duration of segment used, please fill in the estimated start and end time of the segment in the box on the right hand side for system to compute the fees.
  6. Programme Details/ Channel/Date /Time of Telecast – please fill in the details in order for us to locate the programme
  7. We will revert within 10 working days upon receiving your request on the availability of the programme and the confirmed licence fees.
  8. Upon your acceptance of our quote, we will require you to provide details to issue the contract
  9. An invoice will be issued to you after the contract has been signed by both parties. Only payment by online bank transfer is acceptable.
  10. Programme File will be sent via wetransfer or google drive upon receipt of payment.
  11. For urgent orders (within 3 working days), a surcharge of 50% of the original license fee is applicable
  12. In the event when the order has been processed and order needs to be cancelled, a cancellation fee of 100% of the total cost + GST will be applicable

COMMON QUESTIONS

  1. Why does it take 10 working days to revert?
    We need to locate the programme file and to check with content producers if there are 3rd party materials in the programme. For non-current programmes, more time is required to do the checks.
  2. If I need to source for footages on a specific topic, can I do so at the Mediacorp Campus?
    Yes, we can arrange a viewing session at the Mediacorp Campus.
    The viewing fee is :
    • Half day viewing- 3 hrs S$200/ S$214 (with GST)
    • Full day viewing – 6 hrs S$300 / S$321(with GST)
    Cash or cheque payment to be paid upfront on the day of viewing. This payment will be used to offset against the licence fees if a purchase is made.
  3. Are all programmes aired on TV available for licensing?
    No, we do not have distribution rights to acquired and selected outsourced programmes.
  4. Are all News footages available for licensing?
    No, as some News footages may contain third party or agency footages. Hence, these footages cannot be licensed.
  5. What is considered as editing?
    If you are extracting segments of a programme to insert into another programme, this is considered as editing. Extracting a segment of a programme for screening purposes or publishing on website and/or social media platform is not considered as editing.
  6. I am an agency representing my client to handle the purchase. Can I make payment on their behalf?
    Yes, we can arrange for the licensee and paying party to be different
