When her once-promising badminton career fizzles out and the pressure becomes too much to bear, Li Rongjia (Chantalle Ng) is left with no choice but to trade her racket for a desk job, joining her boyfriend Jiang Wenkai (Richie Koh) at the same company. Unbeknownst to her, Wenkai schemed to place her in the cutthroat sales team, hoping she would eventually quit and return to badminton.
Meanwhile, Caitlin (He Ying Ying) who wishes to escape her familial obligations, starts an secret relationship with her Japanese boss Kento (Yusuke Fukuchi), complicating her life even more. Chen Junjie (Noah Yap), who always gets the short end of the stick at work, finally gets a chance at success when the company is acquired, but it comes at the terrible cost of betraying his friends. Newly appointed Senior Management Ye Kui’s (Yvonne Lim) ambition to build her own empire within the company sparks conflict and infighting across the organization.
As the office politics unfold, Rongjia finds herself increasingly isolated by her colleagues and relentlessly exploited by her superiors. Her seven-year relationship with Wenkai also crumbles when his deception is revealed. Drawing on the resilience of an athlete, Rongjia pushes forward, determined to overcome one obstacle after another.
Sam, the boss whom everyone loves and respects, becomes the ultimate casualty in the ruthless corporate power struggle. His downfall forces everyone to confront themselves and question the purpose behind this daily grind. Will they discover the true value of work, and even of life itself?
