Kill Sera Sera 谁杀了她
17-year-old Sera Sun (Chantelle Ng) is murdered on a leap night on 29th Feb, with her limbs dismembered and wrapped up in a Japanese Ukiyo-E stocking. Her 42-year-old mother, May Shaw (Jessica Hsuan), a renowned Art Sculptor, spirals into despair and guilt – the daughter’s death turns up another shocking news - Sera has been running a website offering sexual services behind her back.
Engulfed by pain and anger, May divorces her CEO husband, Allan (Christopher Lee), and strains her relationship with her son, Samuel (Damien Teo), as she vows to seek revenge. The family tragedy deepens when May later discovers her ex-husband was a paying client of Sera. To safeguard his reputation, Allan destroyed all evidence, obstructing the police from cracking the case four years ago.
Is her loveless and sexless marriage with the husband responsible for Sera’s death? Refusing to forgive and move on, May blindly holds onto the belief that Sera is murdered by a serial killer. Desperate to be right, she even imitates a real murder in line with the serial killer’s style. When Samuel discovers what May has done, he commits a crime to protect the mother.
Will vengeance bring peace to May? Who is the serial killer?
