Coded Love 爱不虚拟

Lu Xiao Ming (Richie Koh), aged 27, is a data scientist at ReaLife and is secretly assisting the company in the development and research of a holographic humanistic experiment titled ‘Charon’s Project’. He works hard with the help of AI to help others overcome their regrets and guilt, from a teacher who suffering with the guilt of the death of his students after their minibus gets into a tragic accident, to a man who missed his last chance to see his mother due to his boss not approving his request for time off.

However, outside of work, Xiao Ming is a depressed and lonely man who lost all memories from before he was 8 years old and lost both his parents. With his skills, Xiao Ming uses AI to recreate his deceased mother, Su Yi (Carrie Wong), as her 27 year old self. When Xiao Ming’s long-lost father, Lu Han (Jeffrey Xu), returns, he never imagined that he would see his family again. Yet, he is reunited with his beloved wife whose death has caused him such pain all these years and Xiao Ming's family is finally able to reunite. 

In the end, advanced technology only unveils the harsh reality of human nature. Will they choose to face reality or indulge in the virtual world? This is a story about how humans deal with separation, loss and letting go.
