Brothers Yi Wei (Romeo Tan) and Jie Wei (Jeffrey Xu) grow up alongside neighbourhood friends Fang Ying (Felicia Chin) and Da Ping (James Seah), dreaming of fighting injustice like their TV heroes. But their carefree childhood is shattered by Fang Ping's family's gambling debts, a scandal involving Da Ping’s celebrity father, and Jie Wei’s sudden abduction. As the families eventually move away, the childhood friends lose touch.
Thirty years later, Yi Wei has followed in his father’s footsteps as a housing estate officer, determined to revive the community spirit and bonds. Yet behind his eagerness to help others lies decades of guilt over his brother's disappearance.
Through his work, Yi Wei unexpectedly reunites with Fang Ying, now hardened by her difficult childhood. When Yi Wei is conned, Fang Ying helps expose the scammer, only to discover that it is their childhood friend, Da Ping. While Yi Wei chooses to forgive him, Da Ping grows jealous of Yi Wei and Fang Ying’s closeness and begins scheming to drive them apart.
Just as Yi Wei and Fang Ying grow closer, Yi Wei makes a startling discovery: his long-lost brother, Jie Wei, has returned, but filled resentment and determined to sabotage Yi Wei's seemingly perfect life.
As old friendships and family wounds collide, Yi Wei uncovers an even more painful truth. The hardships that shaped Fang Ying’s life were unknowingly caused by his own actions years ago. With the past threatening everything he holds dear, Yi Wei must confront whether the forgiveness he believes in can truly heal wounds that have lasted thirty years.
