Kid U Not 孩是老的辣
Three 66-year-old individuals Chris Kheng (Zoe Tay), Yong Yutong or 'Tongtong' (Aileen Tan) , and Yap Manle (Marcus Chin) lead unfulfilled lives in their twilight years. Fate brings them to a mysterious teahouse run by the enigmatic Miss Golden (Kym Ng) where they are given a second chance at life.
One sip of her tea, and the trio find themselves back in their 12-year-old bodies as Primary Six classmates. Manle, pampered by his doting parents, becomes lazy and dependent. Chris, a wealthy heiress, is haughty and dismissive of the elderly, especially her housekeeper Mary (Liu Ling Ling), who is at her beck and call. Tongtong lives with her paternal grandmother and maternal grandfather. Believing the bickering pair to be responsible for her parents’ divorce, she keeps her distance.
When a school project brings the trio together, Tongtong and Chris revisit the teahouse, only to be transformed into elderly women once again. Miss Golden warns them that if their identities are exposed, their lives will be shortened. To return to being children, they must complete a series of missions. On that very day, Mary vanishes, and Chris begins to suspect a link to Miss Golden.
Desperate to avoid the PSLE examinations, Manle joins the “aged” group at Miss Golden’s urging. Their secret is soon uncovered by Chris’ cousin, Alex (Zhai Siming), and Manle’s older sister, Manxin (Gladys Ng), who reluctantly agree to help protect them.
As the trio navigate the physical frailty and social prejudice of old age, they begin to rethink their past treatment of their family members and the elderly. At this moment, Mary reappears… Is Mary working with Miss Golden? Can the trio complete their mission and reclaim their youth?
