Last But Not Least 迷茫又无惧的我们

Once a celebrated “prince of athletics” and now a Chinese language teacher, Su Boming (Tyler Ten) sees his life unravel when a brain tumour impairs his vision, his father passes on suddenly, and his family inheritance is seized. Overwhelmed by grief and hardship, he gives up on himself and ends up homeless.
A former colleague’s encouragement rekindles his will to live, and Boming returns to the classroom. He accepts a posting at Zide Secondary School, where he is assigned to the notoriously unruly Class 501. Among its many troubled students are the “Four Delinquents”: Zhou Chengzheng (Tan Zi Sheng), the rebellious and hot-tempered son of the principal who gets into trouble every other day; Qiao Keli (Gladys Ng), an orphan adopted to care for her paralysed brother; “Monkey” Zhi Yuan (Cai Cheng Jun), a boy from a poor family who supports himself through side hustles such as applying screen protectors for his peers; and Wang Xingyue (Denise Fong), a passionate table tennis player facing harsh opposition from her authoritarian father. Other classmates, too, grapple with bullying, online abuse, and heavy family burdens.
Determined not to give up on his students, Boming employs unorthodox methods – leading charity runs; handing out “rubber bands” for emotional release; and conducting outdoor lessons to broaden their horizons. Gradually, he wins their trust, including that of fellow teacher Song Dongxi (Tasha Low), a “money-driven” educator who was initially dismissive of him.
Dongxi is moved by Boming’s sincerity, and a quiet affection blossoms between them. But Boming hides his illness and delays any confession. Unbeknownst to Dongxi, her parents’ fatal car accident years ago was linked to Boming – as well as wealthy heir Bai Qijia (Brian Ng) – and both men now harbour feelings for her. Qijia seeks to get closer to her under the guise of requiring tuition, while Boming resolves to undergo surgery in six months, vowing to pursue her only if it succeeds…
