The Peculiar Pawnbroker 人心鉴定师

A peculiar old pawnshop that accepts bizarre pawn items set off a contest between the old and new generations of appraisers, and challenges their values and beliefs.

Renowned pawnshop "Xiang Dang Dang" has been in business for decades. With the professional evaluation skills and enthusiasm of the boss and appraiser Cheng Huo Chang, customers not just seek evaluation of pawn items and but also help for their problems.

Peaceful days are disrupted with the arrival of Qiu Ke Yan, a young appraiser, who made a bet with Huo Chang and eventually lost to him. Ke Yan has to keep his promise and work in “Xiang Dang Dang”. Both appraisers gradually cultivated extraordinary rapport while competing with each other, and after spending much time together, Huo Chang's daughter Yi Cheng and Ke Yan eventually fall in love.

Out of the blue, Yi Cheng's biological mother shows up to "redeem" her, and to add woe to Huo Chang’s problems, "Xiang Dang Dang" is framed and Ke Yan may have a hand in it. How can Huo Chang salvage the situation, and will Ke Yan and Yi Cheng's relationship withstand this storm?
