Kidnapped 绑架
When Ellie’s son Xiaojie is kidnapped, Detective Lee launches an islandwide search that leads to two suspects: Anya, a woman recently released from prison, and Ah Zheng, a loan shark on the run.
But the case takes a shocking turn when Anya claims that Xiaojie is actually her son. As it turns out, Ah Zheng had accidentally kidnapped the boy after hijacking Anya’s car while fleeing the police. Desperate to get Xiaojie back, Anya tracks Ah Zheng down, only to discover that the boy does not recognise her as his mother.
As conflicting claims emerge, Detective Lee must unravel the mystery at the heart of the kidnapping: who is Xiaojie’s real mother, and what truth has been hidden from him?
