The rich and reputable Subramaniam household decides to hold a Pongal celebration. Vasundrhara, Subramaniam's wife, decides to announce the new holder of their prestigious Ko-hi-noor diamond. The new recipient ends up being Bhavana, Subramaniam's niece, which stirs up some tension between their two sons and daughters-in-law. Mysteriously, before Pongal, the heirloom gets stolen and the thief is amongst the family members. Will Vasundhara's grandchildren get to catch the thief?
