96°C Café 96度C 咖啡
When Li Qiao (Desmond Tan) and Xi Jie’s (Paige Chua) marriage begins to show hints at fissure, Li Qiao takes it badly and eventually ends up losing his employees and customers – all except one, Yu Chen (Julie Tan), who remains his faithful supporter and secret admirer. An unfortunate love triangle ensues with the entrance of Chuan Zhi (Ian Fang), a talented barista roped in to help with the ailing business. Meanwhile, Li Qiao’s elder sister Ruo Lin (Tong Bing Yu) – a modern, educated career woman who is also homely and conservative – finds herself torn between two men, who have plunged into a duel of death over her. Will Yu Chen accept Li Qiao’s marriage proposal? How will Wei Da (Romeo Tan) and Jing Feng (Tay Ping Hui) resolve their struggle over Ruo Lin? What is the future of 96oC Café? Relevant and heartening, each episode reveals a lesson to be learnt about the unplanned setbacks in life, while remembering the laughter and dreams that are often shared over cups of coffee.
