Mankind have made countless medical breakthroughs in this century, still a large number of people in this world do not have access to basic medical care. This soul-searching series, A Medical Journey allows audiences to gain access into the busiest A&E ward in Vietnam, travel to India’s high altitude region of Darjeeling and visit the Philippines’ “baby factory” to witness the challenges facing both patients and doctors not just in remote areas, but also bustling cities.

The hosts will gain special access into the wards and treatment rooms to witness illnesses and treatments, delving into the local communities to explore the crux of the problems and what are causing the medical distress.
