After The Fire

In November 2025, a catastrophic fire at Wang Fuk Court in Tai Po, Hong Kong killed more than a hundred residents and displaced thousands more. But even as homes and hopes were destroyed, a powerful counter-narrative has emerged from the smouldering debris.

Survivors have come together to forge a new community, leaning on each other as they rebuild and reclaim their lives. And volunteers of all stripes have also rallied around them, bringing aid, expertise, compassion and solidarity.

This is the story of what resilience looks like when all else has been destroyed, how solace and hope can rise from the ashes of loss.
