Blurring the lines between the metaphysical and reality, this drama is essentially a story about love and adventure. Jiang Wei (Li Nan Xing), known in the police force as a “super sleuth”, is an honest yet hard-nosed man, who eventually finds love with a gentle woman, Shen Mei Chen (Pamelyn Chee). On their wedding day, Mei Chen suddenly disappears, leaving a wrecked and desolate Jiang Wei. He sinks into despondence and cuts off ties with the world to focus on locating his lover. Along the way, he meets a lively Zhi Qing (Jeanette Aw), who possesses psychical powers that enabled her to understand the inner emotions of a person. The two, embarking on a mystical adventures that leads them to otherworldly dimensions, eventually fall in love. When Jiang Wei finally finds Mei Chen, he is thrown into an unfortunate dilemma. Will he pick his fiancée or his extraordinary assistant? Soon, he is also forced to confront the secret he had guarded deep in this heart...
