Bring Back Our Girls

Bring Back Our Girls explores the plight of women in Asia fighting against prejudice, injustice and violence. In this 2-part series, follow the struggle of girls whose parents refuse to send them to schools and want to marry them off at a young age in Pakistan. In Surabaya, Indonesia’s second largest city, the mayor has shut down the Gang Dolly red light district. Hundreds of women are being displaced. Where will they go and can these red light refugees leave behind a life of shame and stigma, and find the road to redemption?
