Du Siman (Felicia Chin), a passionate teacher of a top school, joins Shining Star Secondary School – here, in a school notorious for setting the worse academic results in Singapore, unfolds this heartening drama that tells a story of love, passion and friendship. Siman meets Yanbin (Elvin Ng), the happy go counsellor of the school, who later develops feelings for her, which he hides. Some laughs ensue as Yanbin, grateful to Yaoguang (Cavin Soh) – the principal of Shining Star Secondary School – for encouraging him to achieve his counselling position today, goes all out to help the latter find a lifelong partner. The plot takes its first dramatic turn during an overseas tour, when Siman and Yanbin discovers that Yilin (Kimberly Chia), one of their students, was contracted with a terminal illness. This made her too weak to participate in the youth culinary competition that the TV station has organised. Will her team score the victory for her? As more drama follows, Yaoguang resigns from his position as a nasty scandal involving Yanbin spreads throughout the school. Yanbin slips into a deadly coma at this juncture… Will he survive from it?
