Lee Kuan Yew: In His Own Words is a retrospective assemblage of Lee Kuan Yew’s most iconic speeches and the scenes he appeared in, as well as rare or recently recovered footage that shed new light on Singapore’s first Prime Minister. By piecing together precious archive that feature Mr Lee at various milestones in Singapore’s history, this documentary seeks to provide audiences with deep insights into the ideas that informed Mr Lee’s actions and decisions, while reflecting the backdrop, in which these values and aspirations were borne out of.
