Punggol Pandiyan
Kilan, the lead singer of a Villu Paatu troupe, suffers an unfortunate mishap during rehearsal when the villu rebounds and knocks out his front teeth. With an upcoming performance and their lead singer out of action, the troupe is left scrambling to find a replacement.
Enter Pandiyan, a migrant worker from Tamil Nadu who has recently arrived to work at a timber factory. Quiet and observant, he tries his best to adapt to his new surroundings and fit into the local community. Though a man of few words, Pandiyan has always dreamed of becoming a singer. When a video of him singing goes viral on social media, it catches the attention of the Villu Paatu troupe, who see in him the talent they desperately need.
Pandiyan is soon brought in as Kilan’s replacement, but stepping into the spotlight proves to be more complicated than expected. With differences in personalities, backgrounds and expectations, can this unlikely partnership come together and find harmony both on and off stage?
