Anti-colonial sentiments were part and parcel of our history and the story of nation-building. Some resisted with rifles and blades while others, resisted with their interllect and entrepreneurship. The struggle for freedom for the weight of colonial yoke was indeed a fight for individual rights and equal status as human beings.
