A pair of ex-convicts started a second-hand goods store which ended up as the go-to place for many in the neighbourhood with problems to resolve.
Former loan shark Mao Ge and his best friend Zhong Yiyuan decided to turn over a new leaf after their release from prison. They rented half a shop from Mao Ge’s ex-girlfriend, Jingwen, and started a second-hand goods store Ling Li Bang. The shop became popular in the neighbourhood, other than buying and selling second-hand goods, many also started seeking help from Mao Ge for their problems. Guilty about causing the death of his friend, Mao Ge also took it upon himself to look after his wife and child, Lexi and Jeremy. Soon Lexi started falling in love with Mao Ge.
Prison officer Qingtian was skeptical about Mao Ge and Yiyuan’s change, however she decided to join them after seeing their dedication. She even took over Jingwen’s toast shop, Seoul Toast, after resigning from her post as a prison officer. But Qingtian was tricked into transferring her toast shop to her brother Bao Daowang. He even plotted against Mao Ge and accused him of money laundering, and Ling Li Bang faces the fate of shutting down for good. Amidst the crisis, Mao Ge, Yiyuan, Lexi and Qingtian has to sort out their complicated relationships. Can they resolve their own issues and at the same time continue to help those in the neighbourhood?
