The Last Bout

In 1930s Singapore, Louis Neo (Benjamin Kheng) dreams of becoming a boxer to break free from his abusive father’s tyranny. His best friend, Tommy Law (James Seah), sees boxing as the only way out of poverty. Set in Golden World, a Western-themed amusement park unlike any in the Straits Settlement, the worlds of boxing and cabaret collide – as the two friends rise to face each other in the ring, and ambitious cabaret singer Kit (Oon Shu Ann) plots revenge against the towkay who controls their worlds and lives.
