Xu Anna (Xiang Yun) and her husband Luo Zhi Gang (Huang Wen Yong) are both successful and influential figures in the corporate world. When their only son, Shun Bang (Zhang Yao Dong), contracted leukemia and needed compatible bone marrow transplant, Anna paid a dubious Shu Nan Cheng (Terence Cao) to impregnate herself as Zhi Gang is no longer able to conceive. Anna cold-heartedly abandons the baby girl after Shun Bang is saved. Shun Bang is groomed to take over the family business, he is attracted to new employee Zhou Tian Lan (Paige Chua).
