Mei Ren Xin (Ha Yu) used to be a renowned soccer coach, who caves in to depression and isolates himself after his wife’s unfortunate death. Ren Xin enters a series of disagreements with his neighbours the Mo family, and Mo Li Hua (Vivian Lai), the second daughter of the family, starts to view Ren Xin as her ‘No. 1 Enemy’. To earn income, Ren Xin rents out his rooms and ends up with several eccentric tenants; his brother-in-law Lan Yang Yang (Zhou Chong Qing); Gao Guo Tian (Zhang Zhen Huan), who has a hidden talent for soccer; Mo Shi Jing (Brandon Wong) who is endowed with great strength; and Wang Jian Nan (Tak Gor) a Hong Konger. When they find out that Jian Nan’s child requires an astronomical amount of money for an operation, they decide to form the ‘The Burning Hearts’ team to try and win the price money in a street soccer match. Li Hua schemes to make sure that Ren Xin’s team does not win. She gathers a group of young boys to form the ‘Youthful Dreams’ team to try and clinch the championship and gets Hong Cang Hai (Tay Ping Hui), a former soccer player to be the coach.
