Tian Cai (Richie Koh) is 21 years old and has the intellectual ability of a seven year-old. He is kind and helpful in nature, but occasionally gets into trouble because of his inability to express himself clearly. His family dotes on him, but get stressed having to care for him and the troubles he gets into. Because of his kind and innocent nature, he quickly makes friends with a mariner who just returned from seafaring and the neighbourhood gardener Granny Bao Yu. Both turns out to be connected to him and his family in some way. Meanwhile, a family secret is revealed...
